Till Tiso, is a PhD student in the Blank Lab.
He studied Biochemical Engineering (BIW) from 2004 to 2010 at the TU Dortmund University, Germany and the University of Valladolid, Spain. During his diploma thesis he worked in the field of Metabolic Engineering in the Systems Biology group of Dr. Lars M. Blank at the Laboratory of Chemical Biotechnology of Prof. Andreas Schmid at the TU Dortmund University.
He is currently working on a "Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt" financed project called Environmental friendly Production and Purification of Biosurfactants (Rhamnolipids) with non-pathogenic Pseudomonas putida". In this framework he is dealing with metabolic engineering and strain development.
