Alina Grankin presents results of her RWTH Speed Fund Scholarship
Congratulations to Ms. Alina Grankin for receiving the RWTH Speed Fund Scholarship and presenting her Master's thesis in the Profile Areas Talent Talks! Her project involves engineering F420-reducing hydrogenases for cofactor recycling with potential industrial application. Ms. Grankin's interdisciplinary thesis was supervised by Prof. Dr. Lars Lauterbach, Dr. Paul Cordero (Institute of Applied Microbiology), and Dr. Florian Mulks (Institute of Organic Chemistry). The Profile Areas Talent Talks marked the culmination of the scholarship, which was awarded by the RWTH Aachen University and the Hermann-Voss Foundation. In attendance were the other Speed Fund recipients, their supervisors, University Management members, and representatives of the Hermann-Voss Foundation, whose support made the scholarship possible. At the end of the event, a certificate of scholarship was awarded by the University Rector, Prof. Dr. Ulrich Rüdiger.
